Research project initiator “Physical Punishment of Children and Youth in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan”, Faculty of Education, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy

  • Field research trip to Pakistan (6 months): data gathering and cooperation with “City University of Science and Information Technology”, Peshawar City, Pakistan. Research-oriented cooperation in the fields of education, gender, and social policies for example with Pilar Robledo from the IRC (International Rescue Committee) and other international organizations and academic institutions in Italy and Pakistan.
  • Visiting Professor in the Education Department, “City University of Science and Information Technology”, Peshawar City, Pakistan, 02-07/2004
    Concentrations:
    – Graduate and postgraduate teaching activity
    – Introduction of software programs to assist students’ academic preparation
    – Graduate/post-graduate student supervision
    – Development of grading standards and guidelines for students and staff
