Teaching Activities

I have taught at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels in German, Italian, and English in the faculties of education, social sciences, and the humanities. My courses have included compulsory undergraduate courses for majors in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, and Community Educators, as well as elective courses for both undergraduates and graduates that I have personally developed for City University in Peshawar, Pakistan, as well as Dhofar University, Sultanate of Oman.

My teaching methodology incorporates both theoretical approaches, and didactical applications in each course I have given for the Faculty of Education at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and other universities abroad. I have utilized both traditional lecturing formats and blended learning techniques; blackboard, smart board and interactive course-specific websites, in order to best serve the students and achieve curriculum goals. Within my discipline I have attempted to embrace current cross-cultural and inter-cultural theories of communication in English in order to better integrate both my initial academic training with contemporary theoretical approaches from other academic traditions. In keeping with contemporary theories of constructionism I work diligently with both my undergraduate and graduate students on their independent research in order to stimulate innovative approaches towards academic themes.
